Acolyte: building a coding assistant

In this talk, I'll introduce Acolyte, an open-source, terminal-first AI coding assistant I built in three weeks — with AI doing most of the typing. I'll cover why I built it, the architecture behind it, and what makes it different: a five-phase lifecycle pipeline, behavioral guards, persistent memory, and full observability. Includes a short live demo and honest thoughts on what's next.
