Building reusable tools that help me build a feature.

I had a problem when developing the onboarding screen for my React Native app and realised 2 options:

1. it'll take time to get right to code manually
2. AI won't be able to do it directly (lack of granular control)

How I solve it: use the third option.

Use AI to build a tool that lets me create the specific parts of the onboarding. It exposes granular control that lets me verify and refine before implementation.

This is a pattern for when AI makes bespoke tooling cheap and fast enough to be worth doing.
